Looking ahead to option A vs option B… with a 1 cent tax increase (option B), would that jeopardize the entire bond amongst voters in your opinion? Or not a big deal?

54:07
As a member of the bond steering and long range planning committee, this equity by design process, this unique process, is going to be derailed by the board President and Vice President.

54:09
How many people total were engaged through PTA/CAC? In my experience attendance at these meetings is low in all communities.

54:20
Why is safety planning for gun violence not first priority? Metal detection and secured doors at schools especially at Akins?

55:20
For Q & A time: 2017 Projects - not all are complete - like House Park - when will this & any other 2017 incomplete bond projects be addressed?

Agree, @Candace Hunter. I’m on 3 CACs and none of those schools had district reps attend meetings to ask about needs.

Suspect that the rich neighborhoods like Tarrytown have already been addressed

56:24
Schools that were supposed to be Phase 2 from 2017 are not even on the proposal for this round?

56:38
but schools like Ridgetop in disrepair are not even in the proposal

57:31
For Q & A time: Recapture - What does AISD do on a regular & consistent basis to FIGHT recapture with the state legislature that the tax $ we already pay can stay in AISD & we don't have to continue to heavily rely on such large & fequent bonds?

57:31
Please click on the following link to access the resource folder where you will find all the documents been shared in this meeting | Haga clic en el siguiente enlace para acceder a la carpeta de recursos donde encontrará todos los documentos compartidos en esta reunión: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H9yA0ZZR2qvW7Bi1TLeZ5uxLbmiFBJOlFPxXGjp_7b0/edit?usp=sharing

57:46
If the objective is to better serve Black and Brown students and vulnerable neighborhoods the bond should reflect that.

57:52
I love what y'all are bringing up! How well are our information systems communicating needs? Are we as a district*proactively* seeking out feedback from communities that have been burned and looked over again and again?

57:54
@Deidric Secure vestibules aren't going to solve the safety issues at Akins unless we also address the 1,000 students attending classes in portables each period.

58:11
i have question what is a food bank?

58:58
We have the same issue at Gullett Elementary. It is an open campus and a vestibule is not a feasible solution for open campuses.

01:00:10
@Karen Dam, a food bank distributes food for no profit.

01:00:33
What Long Range planning committee discussed teacher housing? It seems like this was not discussed.

01:00:48
The LRPs did not discuss teacher housing

01:00:48
What is being done to address schools with Portable Classrooms

01:01:04
For Q & A: When 2017 bond was proposed, a 25 year plan with MULTIPLE PHASES was "promised" - 2017 was "phase 1” - why are schools that were supposed to be in "phase 2" not a part of this bond proposal. Please “stay the course" with minor changes - don't re-invent the wheel each time we do this - it's frustrating and it causes AISD families to loose trust and then not want to support bonds

01:01:08
i LOVE nigga ass

01:01:28
I'd like the Board to receive a full accounting of projects from 2013, 2017 in order to make a more informed decision.

01:01:36
Are they going to modernized the security radios? the speakers on the annoucements. We need more uniforms etc.

01:01:39
@Roohan Nothing at all is being done to address the portables in this bond proposal.

01:01:40
ohhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's why the food bank to donate foods.

01:02:45
@Trudy, thank you. That is a major concern for the health and safety of children.

01:02:49
Ali, you are doing an excellent job of recapping the Long Range Planning process. As someone who was on the LPC and followed this process until this point, I do have serious concerns that some of the facilities that are in the most disrepair are being ignored.

01:02:53
Why did Jamal Karl Inglish type in a racial slur. Who is he?

01:03:24
He has been removed from our meeting.

01:03:37
I would like to ask any safety/ security alarms come with a visual component to be accessible, and all buzzer systems include a braile or other indication.

01:04:13
What do these look like?

01:04:18

01:04:27
I would like to ask the Bond Steering Committee recommend a special education camera with audio be installed in every self contained classroom in the district for the safety of students in segregated settings.

01:04:30

01:04:37
How do you put in a secure vestibule at a campus that has 50 plus entry points?

01:04:45
ummmmmmmmmm i don't know

01:05:06
great question

01:05:20
Seems like the first bond was funneled to wealthy areas

01:05:35
The 2017 bond was not equitable.

01:05:41
Agreed

01:05:54
how are we going to pay for $1million if there is no tax increase? This money will have to repaid...passing on to the younger generation m

01:06:08
the same team that executed on the 2017 bond plan is not the team I would support raising $1.5-2b+ in new bond money

01:06:23
I notice two proposals. What is the total to fix everything that didn’t make the either proposals and what would the tax increase be for property owners?

01:06:30
new campuses for TA Brown, Norman, etc. were built

01:06:31
@Christy, great point.

01:06:39
This is just a way to mortgage our kids future

01:06:43
How will the transparency for contingency funds improve this round? Lots of schools got extras because closed schools had their bond money go to contingency fund projects.

01:07:24
Good question, Lisa.

01:08:01
There seems to be a good deal of "pie in the sky" not enough concrete Example: Food pantries.

01:08:11
@christy. I think they retire some old debt and then take out new debt.

01:08:28
Teacher housing shouldn't be passed along through this bond. If a teacher is not longer a teacher you lose the benefits paid out

01:08:48
$50 million toward teacher housing. Where, when, how, who?

01:08:54
Network Infrastructure upgrades from the 2013 and 2017 were equitable, all schools received the same network equipment across the district to the highest level the each campus could physically accommodate. Same routers, switches, and wireless access point performance, and phones, to name a few examples of what we provided.

01:09:47
@Candace - Food Pantry would be a small area that would hold non-perishable food that is already being donated by outside groups.

01:09:49
For Q & A: Security - Security Vestibules sound good but, “would-be” criminals don't usually follow the rules and enter through security vestibules instead they sneak in or break in - WHAT is the plan to address (worst case scenario) an active shooter in a school when the shooter bypasses the security vestibule? Right now for example at Austin High, there are broken locks on gates and/or doors that don't close properly during regular hours and AHS has ONLY 3 security guards (they carry no weapons) and 2 SRO's (one of which is shared with OHMS so not at AHS full time). The “new” SECURITY CAMERAS do NOT cover all areas - there are BLIND SPOTS & the cameras DO NOT RECORD ALL activity.

01:10:17
Thank you John. The edustation and laptop I received at my High Opportunity school from the 2017 Bond absolutely changed the game for me as a teacher. I hope we will properly fund technology this time around. I am surprised this was a controversial issue in the Bond Steering Committee.

01:10:51
How do we share our vote against this proposal

01:10:55
The Lively CAC had no communication about Bond - we desperately need our campus to be reviewed

01:11:03
Akins is a community that has long been underserved and largely ignored unless the district needs a CTE photo op. If this community wasn’t supported under the 2017 worst first methodology or the 2022 equity methodology, when will relief come for these students and teachers?

01:11:07
Why not wait until next year?

01:11:13
More needs to be done for students with disabilities. Please fund cameras for all self contained settings. Will this bond pay for that? it seems a better investment than 9 classrooms.

01:11:19
Qué pasó con el bono de Eastside y international? Van a ser otro bono igual

01:11:27
What do the non-campus athletics improvements include?

01:11:37
The tax rate increase is small and a great investment in the community / home value. What kind of messaging to the voter base about how important this bond is, is being planned, so that there is good turnout in Nov? The last bond vote failure was just a victim of voter apathy.

01:12:13
@Candace Hunter They want to schedule it with other large races, like the gubernatorial one in November to have the best voter turn out.

01:12:16
😳unmute everyone oh my.

01:12:52
Lively Middle school is in dire need of support. How did we rank? What was inspected at Lively to determine that it was not a priority?

Can we please get these slides in the future? or are these posted online?

01:14:17
Question: why are bonds (i.e. loans) necessary, while giving away a ton (I believe the most in TX?) through Robinhood? It doesn't make sense to me why if we need the money here enough to take out loans, do we have to give it away to other districts? Who gives away a bunch of money, only to take out a loan, only to get into debt because you gave away all your money?

01:14:19
It seems like many of the older schools are being overlooked but much newer schools are on the bond proposal. Information for the community would be helpful. Can you please publish a list of schools in AISD with dates built and/or renovated? And numbers of portables at each school?

01:14:39
They will be posted online after this meeting. We had some updates since Tuesday. @Cladia

01:14:51
mfi?

01:14:56
Median Family Income

01:15:01
thanks

01:15:07
Saul, that is out of AISD's hands. We as community members and parents and families and voters need to advocate that recapture be re-thought

01:15:45
Thank you for including teacher housing. I think this is so important to help support, recruit, and retain high-quality educators!

01:15:48
Yes, we could fund this with the removal of recapture

01:16:23
Jeremy Striffler can you repeat what you just shared about 80% MFI. This is not what I believe many of our employees are in this MFI. True affordability is what would really be inclusive for many of our employees.

01:17:04
MFI in Austin is $100,300 family of 4 80% $88,250 50% $55,150

01:17:42
Also thank you for including musical instruments! This is so needed and a great way to support fine arts.

01:17:42
@claudia the clicked link has the slides. It is hard to listen, read and consider all at once.

01:17:49
Thanks Candance but we need to deep dive into True Affordability.

01:17:57
With this accelerated timeline, will the Bond Steering Committee have time to finish its work reviewing proposal B for equity? Will they have time to incorporate feedback from these meetings into the proposals? They would need to meet next week, but there is no meeting scheduled until AFTER the special board meeting? Will the Bond Steering Committee formally be part of the board work session next week?

01:18:04
have teachers been asked if they want to be housed? away from their homes/assets? do they want this?

01:19:26
Why not change school boundary lines to relieve over crowding in those school some schools in the same area are only at half capacity.

01:19:27
What are the consequences of Austin not submitting their funds in Robinhood?

01:19:27
@Saul, Robin Hood takes money from the Maintenance and Operations side of our tax based income and not the stuff that is usually covered by debt like new construction. Bond money, or debt, cannot be used to pay teacher's salaries, etc. by state statute which comes from the M/O side of district income

01:19:43
I'd love to know, too, Kelly

01:19:52
@Tona Yes, the city has not done a good job and AISD's first run was not done well either.

01:20:01
Is the money for fixing critical deficiencies separate from the list of schools under the proposed

01:20:04
recapture is a STATE issue look at the state legislators AISD does not send recapture voluntarily

01:20:08

01:20:09
I observed some long range planning meetings despite missing the opportunity to formally participate, and when they were deciding which schools were going to be fully modernized or partially modernized, it truly seemed to come down to just who is in the room to advocate for whichever schools. Lively middle school was brought up, but members of the public who were not members of the long-range planning committee were not allowed to provide input. So, these couple parents who were on the committee were just like, Lively seems to be in pretty good shape, despite the fact that it’s like 100 years old. I fully resonate with the NEED to modernize schools like Travis where I work, but I am also very sympathetic to concerns related to how information was gathered and then acted upon.

01:21:19
Thanks @Elisabeth Wilborn - I look forward to doing the best we can to support you and our students. We will make the most of everything we get, but the Network Infrastructure team is concerned how we can provide the same level of service with less? I know exactly what it takes to support the entire network at AISD, and the 4 other enterprise level school districts I have supported over the last 24 years., including our central/core network, that building / renovating schools won't support. Student Safety is relies heavily on the Network Infrastructure, e911 calls for example.

01:21:23
Me gustaría saber si alguien me puede explicar qué pasó con el bono de Eastside y International. Van a ser otro bono igual? Y cuando se va moder International para northeast?

01:21:29
Thanks Nevin for sharing what MFI stands for.

01:22:03
Everyone mark your calendars for Nov. 8 to vote

01:22:14
Sadly, only US citizens get to vote. Many AISD parents, staff, and neighbors do not.

01:22:14
Tona Vasquez - in response to your question: Based on the 2022 Area Median Family Income for Travis County, Texas published in June by HUD, when we look at our employees’ individual salaries (note we do not have data on their total household income), we find that 91% of our teachers and 97% of our classified employees (i.e. bus drivers, custodial service, food service, etc.) have salaries that fall at or below 80% of the median family income (< $61,800 based on 1-person household).

01:22:21
Lo que vi: International va a recibir algo a traves de estar en Northeast. Eastside no va a recibir fondos, dando que es nuevo.

01:22:23
How can we get information to better understand the discrepancy between the $ amounts given to different campuses with similar project lists? I’m curious about a nearly 20 million dollar discrepancy between two high school campus of similar size and student #s.

01:22:29
Also, as. social studies teacher who came of age post-9/11, I'm very concerned with "security theater." When I look at other states with very prominent security features, I do not see students that feel respect and dignity. I see students that feel like they're in prison. I know our students this year did not feel respected, safe, or heard when our bathroom doors were very publically removed, and safety was given as the reason.

01:22:44
Yes, everyone's getting a little, but some really don't need that much and some need much more. As an example, Bowie got $91M in the 2017 bond and is allocated $27M this time. Akins got $13M in 2017 for critical repairs that have not yet been completed and is only allocated $7.5M this time.

01:23:22
Coming from a place of deep care and concern for all of our safety, wellbeing, and love of learning

01:23:24
Hola Hector, me puedes clarificar tu pregunta? La escuela de Eastside fue parte del bono 2017. Y este bono del 2022 va a modernizar nuevas escuelas.

01:23:28
I notice athletic facilities are recommended to be updated, but why are high school fields not being updated simultaneously.

01:23:34
Kynan, I am on the LPC and full transparency, I share your concerns to a degree (I also fought for Lively and didn't comprehend why it was so quickly shot down).

01:23:52
I'm a parent of three student athletes and I still say fix our classrooms and get rid of our portables before you worry about athletic practice fields and locker rooms.

01:23:55
McCallum HS facility was rated better than exactly 1 AISD facility, the bus barn. And it is *not* on the list for Modernization or rebuild? How is that possible? it is a Central Austin school.

01:23:56
@Ali, Govalle, Norman, TA Brown, the new campus at the old LC Anderson, and Manchaca all served previously underserved campuses. Modernization at Doss and Casis were the biggest on the "West Side"

01:24:00
Ridgetop is proposed to receive $727K.

01:24:02
Casis's roof literally collapsed on to first grade class rooms.

01:24:03
Consider, please, the failure of the housing for AISD teachers with the sale of the Baker Center. An incomplete idea could ruin the whole idea. Housing, while a great concept, needs to be clearly defined and explained.

01:24:05
Donna - Our non-campus athletics improvements include Burger Athletic complex, Nelson Field, Noack sports complex, Yellow Jacket Stadium, and Delco Activity Center.

01:24:17
Please allow me to ask my question

01:24:19
Did teachers get surveyed about teacher housing? We know teachers vote in this process.

01:24:20
Districts who lose money to recapture are constantly fighting against losing the money.

01:24:29
@Lisa Alverson, McCallum’s FCA score was recalculated. It was a mistake that it was so low.

01:24:32
My two high schools kids will not benefit because their school is not on the list

01:24:54
Agreed, @Trudy Richards

01:24:56
International HS and East Side do need better attention. The new building is already inadequate to needs of students. Safety and security on the site are a real concern

01:24:56
How do we join the breakout rooms for the school specific conversations?

01:24:58
Stephen Anguiano, make sure to contact the trustees and let them know what schools you want considered

01:25:01
There is a 25 year facility modernization plan … which was addressed during the 2017 Bond discussion process.

01:25:01
What about Blazier half-middle school? It was started in 2017, and our community was promised that it would be finished with the fundings from the next bond. And now it's not even on the draft. It's so disappointing that this project is left unfinished, and instead of promised and much needed middle school, we got only a 4-6 grades school. I have a feeling that South-East Austin is being neglected by AISD for years, and the problems of our community are not being addressed adequately.

01:25:06
I forgot about Bowie, my apologies

01:26:51
@Tara thank you

01:27:00
Please note that just because a school is not on the "Full Modernization" or "Partial Modernization" list does not mean it is not proposed to receive bond funds. For example, McCallum is allotted $32.5M, but does not appear on the official "Modernization" lists. Please check out https://www.austinisd.org/sites/default/files/dept/bsc/docs/2022_Draft_Bond_Package-Bond_Proposal_Summary.pdf

01:27:16
That's a good clarification.

01:27:19
We’ve been doing this for over 20 years and the formula has not changed.

01:28:54

01:29:04
The meeting is July 28th

01:29:04
thanks @Arati Singh

01:29:07
@Christy Huggins, we are planning to survey our 5,500+ teachers to best understand their housing needs. What we do know is that the average rent in Austin is $1,473 for a one-bedroom apartment and $1,792 for a two-bedroom. Annual income required to afford a one-bedroom apartment is $58,920 and a two-bedroom apartment is $71,680. Our average teacher salary is ~$56,000. We believe our proposed teacher housing can help address adding affordable housing to Austin so our teachers can live and work near the students they serve.

01:29:37
Regarding teacher housing, I wholly support this. But to address the housing issues for lower/moderate income families in Austin, we need to address our zoning laws and density rules. Cities like NYC require developers to build or fund a percentage of housing when building new buildings. We need to push our local reps and state legislature to change the laws

01:29:48
It is important to note that reducing recapture does NOT put significantly more funding into AISD. The state sets a per-student basic allotment that adds weighted funding for certain groups of students. That is the entitlement. There is, in effect, a ceiling on per-student funding set by the State of Texas. That means that even if recapture were eliminated tomorrow, that money is NOT available for our schools. It would largely just be a reduction in property taxes. To increase our per-student funding, we must advocate for an increase in our basic allotment. Texas is in the bottom ten states in per-student funding, and we are more than $3000 below the national per student average.

01:30:19
That's pitiful

01:30:24

I am happy to request that BSC members be invited to the Tues work session.

01:31:03
If you need help knowing how to testify, I am happy to help

01:31:09
@lynn for the win on explaining funding.

01:31:09
Araceli showing up for his mom is awesome.

01:31:23
The entire BSC has been informed of the meeting and are invited to attend

01:31:28
Thank you @Arati Singh for the link of school list. I cannot believe Bowie is on this list again REALLY!

01:31:52
Thanks for helping remove the language barrier for your mama. ❤️

01:32:29
@Araceli

01:33:12
@Arati, it is my understanding the board will meet on the Dais instead of in work groups like before. I heard that the LRP meeting was very productive because of the small work groups. I would love if the BSC had the same opportunity to work with Trustees and explain things and hear feedback directly.

01:33:39
How many schools in the district are still open concept and how is the district addressing the modernization of those schools to make them safe?

01:33:44
Please consider installing sped cameras in all self contained settings in lieu of 9 classrooms for $9 million.

01:34:01
Transfer policy adds to enrollment imbalances. What about schools that are not listed like Lamar.

01:34:09
to be clear: please install and pay for monitoring and maintenance to ensure student safety.

01:34:21
There are 20 PORTABLES at Akins. Looks like maybe those 20 year old portables aren't going anywhere.

01:34:23
@Lynn, we could take the property tax savings and consider alternative schooling options for our children.

01:34:43
Can you tell me what are the things is going to be modernized in Northeast please ?

01:34:50
Is there any options mentioned for swing space for modernizations?

01:34:51
Bear Creek is NOT a phase 2. It is an expansion. It is not equitable.

01:34:54
alot

01:35:01
Are there actually

01:35:11
Odom, Williams, and Houston I believe are all open design

01:35:21

01:35:21
I know I'm beating a dead horse, but portables are unsafe, unhealthy, and inequitable. This is not something that can keep being pushed down the road.

01:35:27
Akins has as many portables as the total modernization list combined but was not selected for portable reduction at all. We are very concerned about the vulnerability of our students in portables from both a safety and health perspective.

01:35:27
Yes, Anastasia is correct. Odom and Williams are added in Version B

01:35:30

01:35:48
almost none, have open concept, Sanchez was substantially renovated and was a campus that was such a campus, but my memory is shakey..

01:35:51
Apologies for Lively - we did have Mr. Matias at our CAC

01:35:55
@Lisa yes. How can a new build be included so soon?

01:35:55
apologies

01:36:15
Is anyone looking at the states landlord/tenant laws? Is AISD working with the City council to establish local rent control ordinances?

01:36:24
@Alfredo, we are going to dive deeper into questions about specific campuses when we break out by region in a moment

01:36:44
What about see-through walls?

01:36:54
Does “modernization” imply that new ground up buildings will be included or will they be extensive renovations?

01:36:59
For schools not selected for full or partial modernization, is there a campus specific project description for the budgeted amount in the proposal? What is proposed to be done and what other deficiencies remain?

01:37:33
My question was general about 2017 bonds… and phases

01:37:45
@Lane, it varies. Some schools are completely ground up, some schools are a type 2 modernization, which means that some part of the structure or infrastructure will remain. In any case, the school will feel like a new facility.

01:38:05
Will the proposal please price out the cost of placing cameras with audio in all special ed self contained classrooms and the cost of maintaining those cameras? Students with disabilities need the safety cameras allow.

01:38:22
I do not see Blanton on any of the lists for modernization. Their vestibule is open to the rest of the building and so very unsafe and the heat and air units broke down multiple times last year and the year before. When will improvements be made to this school?

01:38:23
it is a better investment that will help more kids than 9 portables.

01:38:47
I think there may be different definitions of open campuses. When I refer to Gullett being an open campus it is not that it is not conducive to learning. It is that the classrooms are external so they are many, many points of entry.

01:38:56
I am concerned about the seeming rush to vote on this in July instead of August. I’m worried that it will rush through the feedback and derail the real equity work the LRPCs and BSC have done. Better to get it right than get it quick.

01:39:11
Ablan de propuestas primero protejan todas las escuelas para ke nuestros hijos esten seguros

01:39:15
+1 Emily

01:39:18
Agree Emily

01:39:23
How can we see the specific proposals (associated with these cost estimates) and where the 2017 money went?

01:39:25
Is there any changes in security performance ? duties etc ?

01:39:43
Perhaps I don't understand. Since we know HVACs go down why don't we own the chillers etc?

01:39:44
@vanessa, yes, this document has links to all our resources for tonight. The document called bond summary chart has some of the level of detail you're asking about: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H9yA0ZZR2qvW7Bi1TLeZ5uxLbmiFBJOlFPxXGjp_7b0/edit?usp_dm=false

01:39:45
@emily, state law requires bond elections to be on uniform election days: November and May

01:39:54
Lisa Flores … Assistive technology is included in Option B ...

01:39:55
Here is an interactive map showing previous bond investments: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/6b077d2ac40246f9bb34ffa2fb61398b

01:40:05
How do you explain the departure in these proposals for 2022 from the 25 year facilities master plan that was publicized during the 2017 bond process? Votes were cast on these red presentations and promises need to be kept.

01:40:19
I would like to know what is being done for safety and prevented gun violence in all our schools. I feel that safety for children should be primarily addressed over how a school looks.

01:40:27
Representations

01:40:33
Not in favor of 9 lifeskills portables as the only investment as a mea culpa to include something. Include cameras in all self contained classrooms.

01:40:36
Ablan de propuestas y primero aseguren las escuelas para ke nuestros hijos esten seguros

01:40:37
@Cristina Meiring Blanton would be getting 5.6 million for high priority facility deficiencies , a mental health room, and a secure entry vestibule

01:40:40
GENERAL Q & A: When 2017 bond was proposed, a 25 year plan with MULTIPLE PHASES was “promised" - 2017 was phase 1 - why are schools that were supposed to be in phase 2 not a part of this bond proposal?

01:40:54
@Christine good questions.

01:41:13
Pregunté algo sobre el bono, así que mintieron a los votantes que votaron por la internacional para conseguir una nueva escuela. No solo voté por Eastside si no por qué se iban a unir

01:41:14
Also, as a member of the FABPAC that joined in 2018 and worked on the 2019 FMP update, the new SW ES ( now known as Bear Creek) that was constructed from the 2017 bond WAS NOT a phased project. It is disingenuous to call the new plan for Bear Creek “phase2”. It should be called an expansion and we should be honest that we are talking about adding onto a school that is already brand new and serves almost entirely economically advantaged students. Our words are important.

01:41:22
I agree with Lisa’s request for cameras with audio in all special education classrooms.

01:41:24
@Cristina Blanton is proposed to receive $5.6M. You can find the list at https://www.austinisd.org/sites/default/files/dept/bsc/docs/2022_Draft_Bond_Package-Bond_Proposal_Summary.pdf

01:42:16

01:42:53
Que cambios nuevos van hacer para que los estudiantes y padres de familia se sientan seguros ?

01:43:15
@ Jim special ed cameras are not assistive tech.

01:43:24
@Scott, I know that. But an august board vote was fine up until the last week or so for a November election, so why the rush

01:43:24
Is there a breakdown of how the bond benefits each district?

01:43:32
I have been repeatedly told by the office of special education cameras in classrooms do NOT qualify as assistive technology. If the district would like to reconcile that conflicting information it would be very useful.

01:44:07
It is actually part of state law that cameras in self contained classes be installed when requested. Let's just preemptively install and maintain to keep kids safe from abuse.

01:44:08
Also @ Scott, that was a real leap to assume I didn’t know that.

01:44:53
@Emily, no assumption intended just the limitations of the medium and a long day on my part. Please forgive.

01:45:08
Ok, fair enough. Thanks.

01:45:23
@Lisa- and also protect teachers!

01:45:37
Will the district price out the cost of special education cameras with audio for every self contained classroom? Please provide an answer.

01:45:48
@arati curious to know the specifics/though process in a campus like Blanton allocated 5.6 mil in the budget vs a campus like RIdgetop, only has 727k in the budget

01:45:54
Cameras>9 portables.
